For many, a trip to the salon takes up too much valuable time. Loading and unloading your pet, drive time, and wait times at the salon, making a trip to the salon an all-day chore.
As a mobile groomer, I come to you, cutting out the travel time and hassle of dealing with loading and unloading your pet . I can also focus on one client at a time completing a groom from start to finish so your pet isn't spending time in a crate drying. If a dog is older and requires a more soothing, calm, and slow paced environment, mobile grooming is the perfect solution as well!
A basic bath and brush includes a bath, blow dry, brush out, nail trim, and ear cleaning starting at

There are many factors in the price of a groom. Some things to consider: Do you move around in the chair when you get your hair cut? Dogs do! Groomers are constantly working on a moving target. Have you ever attempted to snip at, or bite your hairdresser? I certainly hope not. Do you go potty when a hair dryer turns on because you got a little nervous? These are all frequent occurences in day-to-day dog grooming.
Mobile grooming tends to be a bit pricier than grooming done at a salon. The cost differential is found in the convienence, client priority, and transportation variables.
It cetainly can be! Matting is the interlocking and twisting of the hair. Bathing a dog without properly drying and brushing can make matting worse. Please do not bathe your dog at home regularly unless you know how to prevent matting! As matts worsen, which excessive moisture, neglect, itching, etc. can influence, they become tighter and closer to the skin. As they tighten they can begin to pull at the skin and in severe cases bruising, rashes, and chafing. Shaving severe matts is both dangerous, painful, time consuming, and nerve wracking for the dog and groomer alike.
So please, if your dog starts to get tangled, call me to save the day!
I will do my best to try to work with a dog even if the dog can be a little snippy at times. I have and will use muzzles if necessary to protect myself. Believe it or not, muzzles can be calming to dogs in some cases as it takes away their ability to be on the defensive. If a dog proves to be too aggressive to be able to groom safely, I will do what I am able. If the grooming process is started but unfinished due to behavioral issues, you will still be expected to pay for the groom.
You will be charged more for an aggressive dog as this poses more of a risk to the groomer.
